3. Processing Time
Order Processing: 1-3 business days before shipment
- In-Stock Items: Ships within 1-2 business days
- Made-to-Order/Custom: Ships within 7-14 business days
- Pre-Order Items: Ships on specified date (see product page)
Business Days: Monday-Friday (excluding US federal holidays)
4. Order Tracking
4.1 Tracking Number
Once your order ships, you will receive:
- Email confirmation with tracking number
- Link to carrier's tracking page
- Estimated delivery date

4.2 Tracking Delays
Tracking information may take 24-48 hours to update after shipment. If tracking shows no movement after 3 days, contact us.
5. Delivery
5.1 Delivery Address
Important: Verify your shipping address before checkout. We are NOT responsible for orders shipped to incorrect addresses provided by the customer.
- Include apartment/unit number
- Provide valid phone number for carrier contact
- Use business address if residential delivery is unavailable
5.2 Signature Required
High-value orders (over $500) may require signature upon delivery. If you're not home:
- Carrier will leave a delivery notice
- Reschedule delivery via carrier's website
- Pick up at local carrier facility
5.3 Delivery Attempts
Carriers typically make 3 delivery attempts. If unsuccessful:
- Package held at local facility for 5-7 days
- Return to sender if not claimed
- Customer pays re-shipping fee for second delivery attempt
6. Shipping Restrictions
6.1 PO Boxes
- USPS: Delivers to PO Boxes (standard shipping only)
- UPS/FedEx: Does NOT deliver to PO Boxes
If expedited shipping is selected with a PO Box, order will downgrade to USPS standard.
6.2 APO/FPO/DPO (Military)
We ship to APO/FPO/DPO addresses via USPS Priority Mail:
- Estimated delivery: 10-20 business days
- Flat rate: $15.99
- No customs forms required
6.3 Restricted Countries
We do NOT ship to:
- Countries under US trade sanctions (Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria)
- Regions with import restrictions on textiles
7. International Shipping
7.1 Customs and Duties
Customer Responsibility:
- Import duties, taxes, and customs fees (if applicable)
- Customs clearance delays (typically 1-5 days)
- Compliance with local import regulations
Customs Valuation: Declared value matches order total. We do NOT mark items as "gift" or undervalue (illegal).

7.3 Customs Delays
Delivery times may be extended due to:
- Customs inspections (random or commodity-specific)
- Missing customs documentation
- Holidays in destination country
- COVID-19 or pandemic-related delays
We are NOT responsible for delays caused by customs processing.
8. Lost or Stolen Packages
8.1 Lost Packages
If tracking shows "delivered" but you didn't receive the package:
- Wait 24 hours: Carriers sometimes mark as "delivered" prematurely
- Check with neighbors: Package may have been left with neighbor
- Check alternate locations: Back door, garage, mailroom
- Contact carrier: File a claim with USPS/UPS/FedEx (tracking number required)
- Contact us: If unresolved after 5 days, email support@modsuit.store
8.2 Stolen Packages (Porch Pirates)
Unfortunately, we are NOT liable for packages stolen after delivery. However, we can:
- Provide delivery confirmation (photo proof from carrier)
- Assist with police report filing
- Offer 10% discount on replacement order
Prevention Tips:
- Use Amazon Locker or carrier pickup location
- Require signature ($5 fee)
- Ship to work address
- Install doorbell camera
9. Damaged Packages
If your package arrives damaged:
- Accept delivery: Do NOT refuse the package
- Document damage: Take photos of box and contents
- Contact us immediately: support@modsuit.store (within 48 hours)
- File carrier claim: We will assist with UPS/FedEx claims
- Replacement: We will send a replacement at no cost once damage is verified
10. Shipping Delays
Delays may occur due to:
- Weather: Hurricanes, snowstorms, natural disasters
- Carrier Strikes: Labor disputes or operational issues
- Peak Seasons: Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Christmas (November-December)
- Pandemics: COVID-19 or public health emergencies
- Global Events: Port congestion, supply chain disruptions
We will notify you if significant delays are expected. You may cancel and receive a full refund if delay exceeds 14 days beyond estimated delivery.

12. Order Splitting
If you order multiple items, we may split shipments to expedite delivery:
- In-stock items ship immediately
- Back-ordered items ship separately (when available)
- No additional shipping charge for split shipments
- You will receive multiple tracking numbers
13. Shipping Insurance
Optional Insurance: $3.99 per order (covers loss, theft, damage)
- Recommended for orders over $200
- Replaces lost/stolen packages (no deductible)
- Claim processing: 3-5 business days
All orders over $500 are automatically insured at no extra cost.
14. Carbon-Neutral Shipping
We partner with Carbonfund.org to offset shipping emissions:
- $1 per shipment (opt-in at checkout)
- Funds invested in reforestation projects
